Segregation's What You Need - Block 114
Some away supporters will be relocated by a recent London Stadium segregation change.

Anyone been moved?

Stoke City supporters travelling to this weekend’s Premier League game with West Ham have been asked to check their match tickets due to a change in segregation at the London Stadium following last Wednesday’s troubles.
Away supporters to be relocated are in the following seats:Sir Trevor Brooking Lower Block 117 Rows 2-15 Seats 122-124 and Rows 16-25 Seats 122-125The original tickets will be cancelled and West Ham are working hard to re-issue new tickets in time for Saturday. The Stoke ticket office is attempting to contact those supporters affected and advise anyone with these tickets to contact the bet365 Stadium ticket office as soon as possible.
We are also hearing reports that large numbers of West Ham season ticket holders will be relocated from block 114. We were contacted by one season ticket holder who said they had been moved to block 127.

Last week West Ham confirmed they would be creating more distance between opposing fans to prevent missile throwing. This will be achieved by widening the segregation line on both sides of the lower tier.
They also said they would be strengthening and widening the lines of segregation on the lower concourse walkway by creating higher barriers and a 10-metre wide sterile area.

Just seen. I'm in 114 and haven't heard anything. Be gutted if it's true.

They will be making the seats heavier so that you can't throw them as far.

Re: Segregation's What You Need - Block 114
The problems were the other side behind the goal. It's a big gap between 114 and the aways. You need a decent arm.

114 was truly rocking v chelsea. We had a good time in 130, but looking across, it looked much livelier in 114.

I'm a couple of seats in for 114. Gap is miles BIGGER than at Upton Park.

Re: Segregation's What You Need - Block 114
It's possible that they are taking a 3 or 4 seats from every row out of 114 and 117 and putting a line of stewards in on both sides. It's strange they didn't do this from the starts as its done dvery where.

Chelsea game was great in there. In fact all of them have been far better than the bml was for years (with a couple exceptions).

Re: Segregation's What You Need - Block 114
It'll be a shame if they change 114, it seems to be the best area for atmosphere and the gap is already plenty big enough between that and the away fans..

I was quite envious of that bit looking on from the BML at the Chelsea match.

Does mean they're now having season ticket holders behind the goal? If so then good move. If not, then another massive over reaction.

The gap is fucking HUGE and drops about 50 foot, absolutely no need to move anyone in that corner.

They are all over the shop, cunts.

Dear James,

First and foremost, we would like to thank you for your continued, loyal support of West Ham United.

We want to reassure you that the safety and security of our supporters is of paramount importance to everyone here at the Club.

We are proud to welcome 10,000 Under-16 Season Ticket Holders and 25,000 people who attend as part of a family unit week-in-week-out. The Club takes its responsibility to provide a safe environment for these supporters, and for every supporter that attends a fixture at West Ham United, very seriously and it is our responsibility to do everything in our power to ensure all supporters attending matches are able to enjoy their match day experience.

We must act on the learnings gained following Wednesday night’s EFL Cup tie with Chelsea and, as a result, we are currently in the process of making changes to the layout of the away end at London Stadium. In particular, the line of segregation between home and away supporters is being extended and we must advise you that as a result we are relocating your Season Ticket seat to a comparable area of the Stadium for the remainder of the 2016/17 season, as your existing seat will now form part of the line of segregation or a sterile area in between both sets of supporters.

It is of course regrettable that we have had to make these necessary changes, but we hope you will understand the need for us to take this step. As above, the safety of our supporters is, and must always be, the Club’s primary concern.

In order to ensure we are able to offer you a comparable seat, we are making available a bank of seats that were not previously available as seasonal seats. These are also in an equivalent pricing band to your previous location.

We will of course be sending you a new Season Ticket card ahead of the game against Arsenal on Saturday 3 December, but in the interim we will be posting you a paper ticket for the game against Stoke City. Please note that your current Season Ticket card will be deactivated ahead of this weekend’s match.

If you have any questions or issues with this process, please call the Ticket Office on 0303 031 1966 - option 3.

Of course, if you would prefer, we are able to offer you a pro-rata refund for your Season Ticket for the remaining games this season. Please call the Ticket Office should you wish to discuss this option.

We reiterate once more that we have deemed this development a necessity to maintain the safety of yourself and your fellow supporters and we regret any inconvenience that it may cause. Rest assured these are steps that we must take to ensure that London Stadium delivers the match day experience that you and your fellow fans deserve.

In the meantime, once again you have our assurance that we are continuing to review CCTV with London Stadium from the game against Chelsea and anticipate further banning orders will be issued to anyone found to have behaved improperly.

Yours sincerely,

Gavin Stanley
Head of Ticketing

Huge touch for the lads in 113.

The 114 boys are going to have to get used to sitting I'd imagine.

Useless cunts. No chance of kicking off with oppo fans in 114. Massive gap but good all standing atmosphere - might take their offer and cash in on my ST.

That is a fucking disgrace. One of the only four corner blocks that get you halfway decent distance to the pitch. Spent five minutes in there at the end of the Accrington game. Another nail.

Gavin can fuck off

Re: Segregation's What You Need - Block 114
What I don't get is what extra segregation do they need? The stands are about 30 feet from each other! They are proper ball sing this up. Fucking embarrassing, gooner copying, club murdering CUNTS.

BUT, if they're all being relocated to behind the goal it could make for a better atmosphere.

Re: Segregation's What You Need - Block 114
PS

If your fucking world class CCTV had been working properly you'd have realised that Chelsea started throwing things. I don't condone the retaliation for one minute though. David gold, you may well get that 67000 you want. But with your sterile areas you'll never see that many bums on seats.

Honestly i thought that email was a joke. Cunts
